It is important to note that his travel ban ONLY applied to Chinese nationals More than 40,000 others have arrived here from China - some directly from Wuhan - w/o being tested and allowed to freely roam about the country Trump lost that wager Like a true gambler he made another
This time that "like a miracle" the virus would go away w/warmer weather in April - despite that Tom Hanks was infected in summertime in Australia Now Trump has set the terms of victory again - if less than 100,000 Americans die from it he will have done "a very good job"
Consider the chutzpah it takes to make such a claim The complete disregard for the death and emotional pain his lost gamble is causing others Trump is not capable of admitting a mistake or accepting blame "No, I don't take any responsibility at all" #IDTARAA Already we see
his supporters trying to question the numbers reported of #CoronaVirus deaths despite that these same reports are an undercount as some of those that died were never actually tested #ironically due to another Trump failure - his admin's lack of procuring reliable test kits
We cannot let Trump escape from blame We cannot let the litany of his poor decisions be swept aside as our nation emerges from this plight That is the hope of this "grand reopening" of America That is why Trump so badly wants to tie it to Easter - he sees a chance at resurection
We must repeatedly remind others of all the mistakes and lies and denials of fact by Trump that led us to this point We cannot let others forget or "move on" Trump must be held accountable in real time not years from now by historians Trump and all his sycophants must pay a price
I will add that not only did Trump knowingly refuse to prepare to battle the spread of #CoronaVirus for 8 weeks His team also did nothing to prepare for the economic impact of it despite the example of Wuhan. This is ineptitude on a criminal level
