Everyone is not your customer.

To know your ideal customer, you need to create a customer avatar.

The key to creating a customer avatar is to start with the product or service you want to sell.
Think about 1 person that will be interested in that product or service, his or her age, gender, marital status, occupation, goals, aspirations, pain points etc.

In addition to the above, here are some questions to guide you in creating a customer avatar;
What are their interests?

What do they need to succeed?

What are their challenge? (This helps you create content that speaks to their pain point or challenges)

What questions are they asking about your industry?
How do they consume their content? (Video or text?)

Where do they spend time online I.e what pages do they follow on social media?

What social media channel are they on?

Etc
When you have answers to the above, you will have a clear understanding of who you should be targeting.
