1/8 #DefenceTeam update: Week four of pandemic footing. COVID-19 response work and coordination with OGDs continues to consume the days. Grateful to Defence Team members ensuring critical business activities continue in the midst of this crisis.
2/8 Critical activities like year-end. Big shout-out to the ADM (FIN) team and Defence Team Comptrollers working to finish-up the 2019-2020 numbers. Always a massive job, but this year’s circumstances make it more logistically complex.
3/8 Agree with sentiments of the Clerk of @PrivyCouncilCA: DND civilians, your contributions matter, whether at home or on-site, whether busy with work, or busy staying healthy. We need you, and we need you to keep doing what you’re doing.
4/8 With the tax-filing deadline shifted to 1 June, we have more time to file. Also, DND civilian employees have options beyond Phoenix to retrieve pay and tax docs. You can get your T4 through the @CanRevAgency My Account.
5/8 Also, @PSPC_SPAC’s Contact Centre will send pay stubs or T4s via @canadapostcorp epost. First, register online epost account. It’s free and secure. You’ll need to provide an email address you can access outside the DWAN. canadapost.ca/cpc/en/persona…
6/8 Second, call @PSPC_SPAC Contact Centre (1-800-463-1850). Staff will ask for your PRI, verify your identity, and record email used to register for epost account. They’ll send you an email with instructions. Sign into epost and download your doc. We tried it and it works.
7/8 If you’re not getting paid, or not getting paid correctly, call HR Connect RH (1-833-RHR-MDND/ 1-833-747-6363). Also, the HR GO RH app has FAQs in the News and Announcements section. Strongly recommend downloading the app if you haven’t yet.
8/8 Maybe we can’t celebrate as normal with loved ones this long-weekend. But we can be proud that our actions prioritize their well-being and the health of the society we defend at this critical time. And we can wash our hands. #wegotthis
