I will rather die in battle on my feet than on my knees under slavery. I grew up leading my peers, learning, unlearning to relearn and sharing knowledge via visible impact and influence. I learn from the very best by shadowing them. I surround myself with intelligent people. ⛑ 
These are just a few things I learnt from Distingusihed @BillGates who is also a controversial figure since the 1980s but everyone he is intelligent, wise, surrounds himself with the very best of minds and he listens to them. Unlike our rulers who view intelligence as a threat.
In the past 8years, Bill Gates has been heavily involved in fighting epidemic diseases around the world, especially in Africa. He is not a medical doctor or even a Professor at that, but his works speak for him in that sector. This is what we mostly deem as fraud in Nigeria.

So you see how we ruin development in our part of the world by expecting people to excel nobly based on what they read in school as against what they are passionate about. How many of us are really known for what we studied in school? How many make impacts with certificates?
As a philanthropist actively working on epidemics, Bill Gates is not an epidemiologist or a doctor and need not be one provided he employs his weaknesses and listen to the best brains in the sector. Same thing Toyin Saraki is not a Doctor or Nurse but leads frontliners in Africa.
Segun Awosanya is neither a Lawyer nor an Activist but a Human being Advocating for Equity, Justice and fairness via strong Institutions with his advocacies and philanthropy. Like Bill & Melinda Gates and Toyin Saraki, due to their experience and proven work...
...cum the experienced team each of the individuals galvanize, they are more than qualified to speak on their area of proven work and for the Gates, they are thoroughly qualified to advise on the current pandemic. There is nothing he has said that was found untrue in this regard.
In 2015, Bill Gates did recommend that the world prepare for a pandemic as if we were preparing for war. He said “If anything kills over ten million people in the next few decades, it’s most likely to be a highly infectious virus, rather than a war. “Microbes not Missiles.”

In our part of the world we see people that forecast the future accurately as the enemy of the society. Bill Gates did not predict COVID-19, he however, did identify key factors in what would make an epidemic or pandemic worse than Ebola according to most scholars.
He projected and forecasted a model which is now proven with asymptomatic spread where people go about their businesses spreading the virus without even knowing they were ill. Conspiracy theorist have said all sorts which is common when people fail to understand intelligence.
The mutating Covid19 virus is still being studied but has been recently found to be capable of limited airborne transmission of up to six feet, but yet to be proven to have aerosol transmission capabilities like the Flu, which goes as far as 20ft & stays airborne for much longer.
HE Toyin Saraki researched extensively on Project WASH (Water and Sanitary Hygiene) long before the culture of Hand Wash became a global religion upon the emergence of the Novel Coronavirus as sanctioned by @WHO. Do we blame her for seeing the future too or learn to think deeper?

Impact lives and influence your society positively and be assured that you will live on in the hearts and minds of the people through generations long after you are gone. We are all unique in one thing or the other, tie this to global needs and pursue it passionately.
