Absolutely insane amount of hatred journalists get for providing a vital service. Nobody is doing it for applause, but you can drop the hate. I’d rather my friends were in isolation not filming in ICU wards, but if they’re going to be there, I’m sure as hell going to defend them.
And they get paid piss all, have less employment rights than everyone else. Stop attacking the people putting themselves on the line to keep you and your family informed. It’s not just a job, it’s a vital public service.
