BREAKING: @OPCW release a damning and unprecedented condemnation of the lies peddled by WikiLeaks, Peter Hitchens and the Mail on Sunday, with the Director General saying the leakers "are not whistle-blowers" whose views are "not backed by evidence".

@OPCW I was fired for speaking out against these lies. Telling the truth, reporting accurately and challenging a well-financed state sponsored disinformation campaign were clearly not as important as letting a star columnist peddle racist war crimes denial.
@OPCW The editors at the MoS got swindled by a Russian backed grift operation, and that's what happens when you let a climate change denier write about the science behind war crimes investigations. What they published was tantamount to absolving mass murder.
@OPCW Yes, it's personal, and not because I lost a wage from a toilet rag, but because I've visited Turkish hospitals to interview the survivors of these attacks. I bore witness to their testimony. It is my professional & moral duty to defend the testimony of those survivors.
@OPCW Well done to the editors that ignored thes bogus, fabricated, heinous lies that Peter Hitchens has been pushing. I know for a fact he has contacted senior journalists from outside DMG trying to get them to provide coverage to his war crimes denial. They ignored him. Good.
