Shameless racist conspiracy theorist Aaron Bastani is now praising articles denying that Assad used chemical weapons against his own people. A fraud, a bigot and a coward. 
Aaron Bastani’s grips with the press is they don’t spread enough pro-regime propaganda, they don’t entertain enough Kremlin-sponsored conspiracy theorists, and they don’t give racists like him more air time.
He may be a clown, a war crimes denier, a fool, an ignoramus and a braggart, but he was one that was entertained by the Labour Party’s press office under Corbyn.

Aaron tried (and failed) to get me sacked from Sky News twice because I was one of the few journalists willing to not ignore his continuous assaults on the media and confront his deranged, dangerous conspiracy theories.
Maybe my manner ruffles feathers, but my job as a journalist is to expose wrongdoing and hold people accountable. Too many journalists are comfortable living in the same ecosystem as these people, they are wrong to, disinformation spreads like a pandemic without action.
Aaron is a secondary disinformation node, filtering conspiracy theories from Moscow and Tehran and mainstreaming them to a market of left leaning Gen Z and millennials. The press needs to own up to the role it played in giving this man an audience.
