THEORY: NYC's curve flattened the way it did because front-line healthcare workers starting taking prophylactic hydroxycholoroquine very early & started giving it to patients sooner/more often. I heard that directly from people on front line.
Trump was repeating what was anecdotally being reported but other countries were already using it. Docs in NYC knew side effects were minimal &risk was worth it. Explains curve flattening though so quickly. @AlexBerenson @julie_kelly2
