Life or Death Thread:

To restart our economy, without killing 1000's more Americans, we will need a logical plan.

1. Test/Categorize Americans into 3 distinct categories:

A) Home/Isolated/High Risk/Infected
B) Workers/At Risk
C) Workers/Immune/Antibodies Present (Donors)

It's pretty easy to understand how Groups A & C will function moving forward. We're seeing those groups emerge now & function successfully, so we will focus on group B here.

2. Protect Group B, (Workers/At Risk):

A) Develop free disposable self-tests & require daily testing.

B) Develop an app to monitor testing & contact tracing that includes an "exposure alert system."

C) Develop detailed PPE & workplace protective equipment, and put the onus for providing them on employers. (PPE purchased by Gov., in bulk, sold at cost to employers).

D) Develop exacting decontamination processes/standards for those going home to those in group A (Home/Isolated/High Risk/Infected)

E) Establish laws (with penalties) for those who knowingly refuse to follow established guidelines. This includes both employers & citizens.

F) Urgently develop a Vaccine.

We need a sense of Urgency!

Without a plan 1000's will die needlessly. Without leadership, we will never develop a plan.

Now is a critical time period! While we are all at home safe, we need to be hard at work putting a detailed plan together!

But @realDonaldTrump just wants to have a news briefing, wave his hands & declare America "Open for Business," because he's a simpleton & he won't listen to those who know what needs to be done!

He is doing NOTHING!

We can't waste this time! We need action and we need it now!

We must stop "Group B" from becoming "Group D."
