As we see over and over, when a pathologically dishonest president lies, it's not only a virtual impossibility for honest people to defend those lies with the truth....4/
.....but, eventually, the defense of a pathologically disordered president's behavior, and the rebroadcast/regurgitation of his pathologically dishonest/gaslighting statements.....becomes pathological behavior in and of itself.....5/
Eventually Trump will be gone. But if the same sociological/psychological factors remain, that sociopathic demagogue vacuum will be filled by someone who most likely would be more efficient/capable....6/
