Two thoughts.
1) Vulnerability of *information* supply chain. Fauci seems to have trusted WHO who trusted China. Some have charged that China knew truth & actively misled. But maybe they were also as faked out by the disease as everyone else. Either way, need total rethink here.

2) Watters and even Fauci are kind of giving the impression to the audience that the pandemic is almost over, that deaths have peaked in NYC, it’s a wrap, and all that remains is to argue about whether the lockdown was overbroad.
