PS2/ The number of lies in this presidential rant is *staggering* and all the lies can be confirmed as lies via video
PS3/ 40,000 people (not a typo) came from the U.S. to China after Trump's "ban" because it was 100% *not a ban*
PS4/ Trump was the 50th world leader (not a typo) to issue travel restrictions because of the novel coronavirus so in no way whatsoever did he act "early"
PS5/ Trump issued his first travel restriction (with at *least* 11 gaping loopholes that made it not a ban, per the Washington Post) *30 days* after his first intelligence briefing on the dangers of the virus
PS6/ On March 11, Trump's Europe travel "ban" (which also was *not a ban*) excluded any European country where Trump owns a golf course

PS9/ Every time Trump says "no one could have predicted this" he is lying because multiple intelligence, trade, economics, and DHHS reports from the last four months of 2019 predicted *exactly* this scenario and he ignored them

PS11/ Anyone with access to YouTube or Twitter or Facebook can watch a *video compendium* of disinformation by Trump about COVID-19 extending from mid-January to mid-March, and the disinformation came as some Americans were looking to him for accurate information about a pandemic
PS12/ Really awkward when at 6:15PM EST he pronounced coronavirus "karanavirus" like the word was not one he had often said out loud
PS13/ Trump: "Everything we did was right." Zero percent chance that's the judgment of history. Zero.

Kennedy is a member in good standing of Trump's "death cult," so let me explain what I mean by the term.

Trump cultists elevate Trump's re-election above *everything*—and that includes rule of law, our democracy, US foreign policy, civil public discourse, and *yes*, your *life*.
It's a "death cult" because it's a cult of personality that is willing to sacrifice—to its *death*—anything that stands in the way of its God-Emperor.

So rule of law must *die*, democracy must *die*, our international alliances must *die*, and now—yes—many of *us* must die, too.
Keep in mind, a poll shows 81% of Americans want stay-at-home orders to continue—and for government officials like Kennedy to do what must be done to make that possible for every family economically. Only 10% of Americans (the death cult) ask us to throw up our hands and give up.

It's clear @JoeBiden needs to pick as his vice presidential candidate someone he can immediately declare his coronavirus czar, freeing him up to fix the thousands of missteps in US domestic and foreign policy the current president produced. I see @SenWarren/@ewarren in that role.
Meanwhile, @JoeBiden will *also* need someone who can, as AG, restore rule of law in America, including reinstating investigations AG Barr improperly squashed and ensuring that the most corrupt presidency in U.S. history is properly investigated. I see @KamalaHarris in that role.
Whoever @JoeBiden picks to be Secretary of Labor or Secretary of Health & Human Services will be the most important person ever to occupy either position, due to COVID-19. If he wants them, @BernieSanders should be given his choice of those two (now historically critical) roles.

Something true that needs to be said and is *really* scary when you stop to think about it:

The President of the United States *doesn't understand* what's going on right now.

And the fact is, he *can't* understand—he's not equipped for it.

And therefore, he *won't* understand.
The number of ways COVID-19 will change how we live, work, study, and relate to one another is *so mind-boggling* that if you think about it for even 10 minutes you come up with a 100 questions we don't have answers to yet. And *all* of it is beyond the president's comprehension.
I was just talking with someone who has a relative who works in a prison. Can you imagine the *hundreds* of unanswered questions we now have about how *that's* going to work going forward? Do *anyone* believe that the President of the United States can comprehend that complexity?
