Consistent complaint with reporting is that there is NO discussion about the models. I can see that they do not have much information about the models being used by the governor. She has "elected" not to share any information except to distance her modeling from other models.
I simply believe there is no difference. I believe she is using the same models as the national models. Transparency is not the hall mark of this governor. This lack of transparency is at the core of the arguments of her unquestionable control of the economy.
She is responsible for dragging down this economy. She has no regard for the destruction of business after business after business. The difficult part of the whole event is the arbitrary and capricious manner in which she picks winners and losers. Construction can continue,
but liquor stores must close. Grocery stores must stay open but gun stores cannot. It is my understanding that the citations being issues are mostly to gun stores. I would like to see those citations. Yes, there are more deaths. And to those families that are suffering
I offer my most sincere condolences. We know what you are going through because we too have dealt with death in our family within the past month. That death put us in a place where we have first hand knowledge of the governor's disdain for personal hardship and callous
handling of those who are truly, scientifically, the most vulnerable. An aunt of our family has been displaced from a nursing home. The logic escapes me. She was moved from a nursing home where the entire staff and all residents were tested for Wuhan Virus and all were negative.
She was moved from this safe environment to a facility where NO TESTING has been done. So let me see if I have this straight. We are being told that travel/movement in society is one of main troubles and must be stopped at all costs. So our fine governor decides to take 55 of
the most vulnerable members of society, those over 75 years of age with underlying medical conditions, and move them FROM a known safe environment TO a facility where there is no testing. And this makes sense how? The reporting from this outlet appears to ignore any critique of
this governor. It would be helpful to tie not just the number of tests, the timing of testing to specific locations. But then again that would require disclosure. Not sure how this outlet would choose to press the governor, but it is time. unroll @threadreaderapp
