Time to see if China cheerleader blondie or any of the others who got burned to the ground yesterday are back & maybe had a little common sense beaten into them.

(Doubt it)

Members of the Coronavirus Task Force Hold a Press Briefing
They're outside in the Rose Garden today, perhaps because last night was too much of a fire hazard.

(Maybe you've seen the meme of @POTUS shooting lasers out of his eyes & burning the heretics down. If not, it's worth the search)
Right out of the starting gate @POTUS announces @stevenmnuchin1 negotiated a payroll agreement with the airlines.

US continuing to make substantial progess.
"Through the darkness we can see the rays of light, we can see that tunnel..."
15% of counties in US have 0 cases.

Many have very small number of cases.
Ordered a halt of funding to WHO pending a review of their mismanagement & covering up of COVID spread.

[Awesome]

US pays $400-500mm to WHO vs China's $40mm or less.

US has duty to insist on full accountability.
Had other nations suspended travel from China like us, many lives would have been saved. Nations that followed WHO guidelines & left borders open to China have expanded the crises.
WHO attack on travel restrictions put political correctness ahead of saving lives.

Border control is fundamental to virus control.
W/ outbreak of pandemic, we question whether the US taxpayer's money has been spent in the best fashion.

WHO failed its basic duty & must be held accountable.

Failed to investigate credible reports from sources in Wuhan that contradicted the CCP's narrative.
Middle of Jan, WHO parroted the CCP narrative of no human to human transmission despite evidence to the contrary.

More time lost in time it took to get a team into the area of the outbreak.

Inability of WHO to get samples has deprived scientific community of ability to get -
timely data.

World rec'd false info about transmission & mortality from WHO.

Silence from WHO on disappearance of doctors & scientists in country of origin (China) is deeply concerning, esp when we put up the lion's share of money.
Had the put scientists on the ground & called out China's mistakes, we could have saved a lot of lives.

Instead WHO took China's word at face value & praised China's transparency. "I don't think so." - @POTUS

Fought us on our travel ban. Their neglect likely caused a 20-fold-
been so easy to be truthful.

*Side note: heard on @WarRoomPandemic that Dr. Ben Carson may be replacing the current Maoist/Communist/Cholera cover-upper in charge of WHO
*another side note: looks like Twit screwed up the order of the tweets and left a few out.

"Scariest day of my life, a few months ago after long day of meetings, team told me we'd need 130,000 ventilators that we were short. This was the system we inherited.

We had Gov's-
requesting ventilators because they weren't prepared.

I was told those who didn't get ventilators would only have one option, death.

Would we allow Americans to die w/o ventilators?

I instructed my team to move heaven & earth to ensure that didn't happen.
I instructed my team to use DPA, and it was used very powerfully, so powerfully that, for the most part, we didn't have to officially take it out, in order to mfr as many vents as possible.

Last year we made 30k vents, this year could be as high as 200k
We have 10k right now in Fed stockpile ready to move should we need them.

Adam Bowler will be coming up to talk, young man who worked 24h / day on the situation.
Bowler: made hundreds of thousands of vents now, 60,000 not in use at hospitals around the nation now.

They had to create a new regulation allowing hospitals to share between themselves, and 20k are doing so now.

There's be NO AMERICAN who needed a vent, but didn't get one.
Public/private partnership is another example of Americans helping Americans.

@POTUS back up now.

Today I met w/ leaders of America's big, powerful, beautiful & important hospitals & hospital associations.

Pleased to announce my admin is partnering to create a new dynamic-
partnership called the Dynamic Ventilator Reserve Program

A few healthcare CEOs are coming up to talk now

This program will allow hospitals to "flex" to areas that need it more than others

***note: this is the type of thing that normal bureaucrats would NEVER come up w/
be able to come up with on their own. As @dbongino loves to say, since it's not their money and they're not using the end-product, bureaucrats have no incentive to do a good job or ensure the product is most cost-effectively
@POTUS back up again

US has far more ICU beds per capita than any other nation

34.7 beds/100k ppl (rattling off stats of other nations - we're twice what the next nation has -- so piss off to the MSM saying this showed "how great socialist healthcare is," since we're lightyears
ahead of them in quality, quantity, efficiency, speed and scientific progress)
FDA has authorized first test using saliva from patients that can be self-administered, reducing exposure to healthcare workers & saving PPE

Rutgers will begin 10k tests daily

We must also begin to restore help to the American worker, economy is going to rock n' roll when-
it's time to open it back up, you can see by watching what the stock market is doing right now

They have confidence we're going to do the right thing and that our country will be open soon
He's talking again about how the stock market, economy & unemployment numbers were the best in human history just a month ago.

***if you follow @POTUS closely, you pay attention to things he says repeatedly. he's said this over & over...he has something cooking & I can't wait to
see what it is.

Certain states are in a much diff place than others, so it will be "very close" (when we open the economy back up), maybe before May 1st.

Over 20 (states) in extremely good shape, so they'll likely be open before others
Ok that's weird, Twit just crashed on me. It hasn't done that since I was threading about the Kings College conspiracy paper.

So POTUS is going through the industries who'll be on his phone call re: getting the country opened back up
Banking, Agriculture, Unions, Defense, Energy, Financial Services, Food & Beverage, Transportation, Telecom

*(no AT&T at the meeting...who owns CNN, that's hilarious. ATT's getting the stiff-arm for keeping douchebags like Zucker on board)

Healthcare, Tech
Sports (we have to get sports back bc i'm tired of watching baseball games that are 14yrs old, but i don't have too much time to watch lately, maybe one batter then back to work(!)) - @POTUS

Thought leaders (Allison from heritage, Condi Rice from Hoover, Forbes, etc
Religious leaders coming on Friday (I haven't been watching MSM but I bet they're faces are melting off from that one 🤣 )
Governors will soon declare when they're going to open up their states, will gave a date very soon

Governors will be held accountable

They'll be equipped to do testing. We had a broken system but now we have a great system
Now we have a very simple test from Abbott, the first one wasn't so easy, but this one's pretty easy

Governors will be checking ppl coming into their states (bye bye, drug & human trafficking + illegal immigration)
We're counting on the Governors to do a really great job. Some of them have a really tough situation, but others are already starting to come way down

Min was 100k deaths, but I hope to be substantially under that minimum

We did the right thing, prev projection was 2.2mm ppl
That would not be acceptable, 1 life isn't acceptable but we weren't given that option

I'm confident these respectable ppl will give us some great ideas, along with Governors who, at first it was combative but now we have a really friendly relationship
Washington shouldn't be in local leaders business, but a governor can or a mayor can. So I think it's going to be a great system, but if we're unhappy and they're not doing a great job we'll let them know.

So if numbers are going in the wrong direction maybe we'll have to step-
in and do something about it, but I don't think we're going to get to that point

Discussions will focus on rejuvenating the economy, and always health & life, number 1
We'll give governors what they need if they don't have it.

They can rely on us, very strongly.

Javitt was hardly used, but that's a good thing bc i'd rather have too much than too little

Will announce political list tmrw , mtg w/ governors tmrw via teleconference -
The Federal gov't is there if they need us, but this will be their show

He's opening it up to questions
Q: WHO - can you address why it's the correct time?
-we're gonna be dealing w/ countries and leaders. We spent +$500mm / yr and I read off a long list of problems, we've had problems w/ them for yrs. Doing thorough investigation now, should've been done a long time ago
WHO is very China-centric. You can't do that, not right. It's not a question of money, but when we're spending $500mm and China's spending $40mm. It's not money, but it's not right. We'll see, this is an eval period. We'll channel that money where it's most needed
Q: Governors call: what if they don't take your advice or listen to you or obey, will you take their money away?
-I don't want to say that, and I don't think that's going to happen. We need each other. The governors will be very respectful of the Presidency. This isn't me, it's-
the Presidency. You can talk about Constitution, Federalism, whatever. But the best way is to let indiv Gov's run diff states
Q: testing: Fauci said this morning that contact tracing & testing doesn't exist, will it be ready by May 1st?
*note: you can tell by the way this opens up that Fauci being on the talkshows running his fat suck is getting on his nerves.
Someone shut mini-Kavorkian up (my note)
A: we have to open the nation, it will get opened and it will be safe. There is tremendous testing and they'll use what's necessary, but it will be safe
Q: WHO: will you support them again if Tedros is imm replaced?
-We're doing investigation, I don't know him, I know there've been problems and they've been very unfair to the US. Why didn't the other Presidents stop this? I have trouble with WHO and WTO, not sure which is worse
Q: WHO: you're against them for praising China for transparency, but you've been saying the same thing about them.
-I have a phenomenal trade deal w/ China. They've paid us 10s of billions over a very short period of time.
Q: 600k cases, ppl across country say they still can't get tested and they still aren't getting tested....
-the governors are still getting tested
*note, this is the asshole from Playboy that got into it w/ @SebGorka and he won't STFU.
Please someone rough him up & kick him out
OOP, @POTUS told him to put a sock in it or get kicked out

Q: Are you going to be running...
-no, the governors will be running their own states. Numerous states are in great shape right now. We have a lot of those states, set to open practically now
*sooner than the end of the month. Many states looking at this and not understanding why they're even included in this. If we disagree we won't let them open, we're there to watch, help & be critics. We've always wanted states to do the testing. We're providing it now, the states
were supposed to provide vents, but they weren't doing that so we stepped in to help.

Q: there's an annoying whiny-voiced beyatch that starts by saying 2 questions. POTUS ain't having it, yet she keeps harping that she has followup + Q.
*we should have a 1 strike and you're out
rule here. An honest @whca would, but they're activists not journalists so they're not honest

Q:Do you want to walk back China praise in Jan?
-I"m always respectful of China, why wouldn't I be? China's paid us more than in your admin (Hussein's), more than under any other -
President, we're taking in billions of dollars from China, they never before paid us $0.10. If they don't live up to the deal, we have other methods. We have an investigation into WHO, we'll find out exactly what went on.

*But that's not my question, you're saying the WHO was-
bad for calling China transparent, but you also talked about China's transparency
-I don't talk about China's transparency.
-She keeps trying to butt in
I'm the only leader who closed our border, long ahead of what anyone else wanted, I was the 1 person who wanted to do it. You-
know why? Because I don't believe everything that I hear

Q: last week you said you'd have data on disproportionate impact on black community
-we'll have that very soon
Q: re-opening: What happens if you see spike in states that reopen?
-I'm studying other countries. We've looked at every country that's opened. We think we'll do it very successfully. The governors know when it's time to open, i'm not going to put pressure on anyone to open
Some don't need pressure, they're ready to go

Q: Cuomo said were NY to be pressured, it would cause a Constitutional crisis
-I heard he said that, but he understands how we helped him. He needed help.
We'll get along just fine, he understands

Q: how do you reassure workers in states who may be afraid of going back to work?
-that's going to be up to the governors. Companies can do testing, they can do temp. We're only talking about a period of time. Soon enough we want -
to get back to where we were. We're not going to be like, like you are (points to reporters), we don't want this. Eventually we're going back.
Q: financial: Kudlow said current run rate, PPP run out very soon. Plan to re-up is stalled in Congress, what can you do?
-Dems want to put all sorts of things that aren't appropriate. It blew up in their faces, we want to take care of workers & pet projects can come later
It's been a tremendous program. We need the refill for the workers, want to make sure SBAs stay open

Q: Newsom put out criteria for reopen today, did he consult with you? And what states are ready to open?
-I don't want to talk abut what Govs and I talk about, but we have a very
good relationship. And there are 29 shapes in good shape.

Q: Another reporter starts w/ "I have 2 Qs" and POTUS imm. shoots back "1 question"
Pro tip: listen or get your pee-pee smacked down like a bad little boy
*reporter pushes back, "but I have a colleague who can't be here..."
"who cares, if he's not here he's not here..."

Q: UN economist says danger to food supply, what are you going to do about it?
-our farmers are incredible, transportation is incredible, we're doing phenomenal-
with the food, so are the stores. We'll be just fine with the food supply
Q: social distancing until May. If we ease up, how many more Americans...
-well i'm not easing up. the states that are opening are ones that won't have problems w/ that. and they'll have to follow guidelines until "the enemy is vanquished"

FU: the reason they don't have a prob -
now is bc of social distancing...
-no, that's partially it, and much of that will stay in effect. But many of these states have fewer ppl and lots of room.
*these f-ing YUPPIES don't understand ppl who live in rural areas

And, of course, whiny-voiced shitheads keep yelling-
at him after he leaves.

But @POTUS don't GAF, because he's a boss.

@realDonaldTrump , OUT! (and so am I)
