You want a thread on databases on policy responses to the COVID crisis? Here you go.
First up, the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker (OxCGRT) drawn up by @thomasnhale and co that has the nifty feature of summarizing disparate types of responses - say, school closures and stimulus - by an index of overall "stringency."

As it turns out, most governments around the world lean towards stringent policy responses.

That includes Sweden, which has gotten dinged in the press for its (in relative terms) lax response.
And you can compare the variations in stringency to death tolls over time for different countries.

As you'd expect, Italy's stringency is higher than US', and China's stringency is starting to peter out.
Next up, the @IMF has launched its own policy tracker, which is good for a high level description of the major actions taken by its member governments.

The OECD has a policy tracker, which seems to go in a little more depth than the IMF's.

Want more detail on the less obvious actions that central banks and financial regulators are taking?

The Yale School of Management's Program on Financial Stability has you covered with their COVID-19 Financial Response Tracker (CFRT).

To date, they've identified over 1,700 discrete acts and proposals. They've got it sorted by country, agency, date, and type of financial regulation. You can see a peak in late March.
While it's not COVID-specific, Global Trade Alert @gtalert at the University of St. Gallen has a database of country measures that expand or restrict trade.

I haven't yet found a good resource for the more industrial policy type actions some countries are taking - like nationalizing industry or invoking allocation powers.

UNIDO - where I might expect to find such a thing - has some preliminary analysis but no data that I could find.

Here's a database of market access restricting or liberalizing measures, at a pretty nice level of detail, by @ITCnews
