All communication skills are interdependent.

That means they play off one another

Being a good listener makes you better at speaking

Good speaking makes you better at writing

Good writing makes you better at listening

You realize this, if you stick with it long enough
That's the beauty of communication

It makes you a more holistic person

It doesn't matter if you're the person with great ideas If you can't Express them....

That's why the competent charismatic runs laps against the overly logical guy who works away in the cube...👇
Communication skills is an investment towards your future

It's a superpower

Yet, it was strategically left out of school
A lot of the school system here was designed by the mind of Rockefeller.

He was a mega business man during the industrial age

And during the industrial age, it was all about machines & workers
The top businesses had powerful machines & workers to operate those machines

The best workers new how to take orders from the higher ups

Take orders & do.

That was the mantra
Rockefeller & his squad created the school system to make good workers.

'Shouldn't good workers be given the gift of communication skills?'

Not really

A worker who knows how to Express themselves, also knows how to THINK
A person who knows how to think knows how to QUESTION.

And if those successful business men have their workers questions away, then that becomes a liability to the business owner

Which is why you weren't taught communication in school
And even what you were taught wasn't real communication

Reading a passage & answering questions about it

Waste of time

That's not how the real world works
But we have evolved, my friend

The industrial age is done

The information age is where we live.

Time to drop the limiting beliefs, & upgrade
In school:

☆you are taught to raise your hand

☆Do tests

☆And follow the curriculum
In the real world:

☆you speak up for yourself

☆overcome tests

☆create a curriculum
Major mindset shift.

If you're gonna be stuck in your old ways, then you'll fall victim to your behaviors

And call it fate

Tsk tsk
'How do I fix this?'

You invest in your communication skills
At first, when we think about communication, we think about talking to others

But in reality, it's a HOLISTIC approach to life

That's why my brand covers a wide variety of topics from EQ, creativity, social skills etc

You're not a one trick pony
I'm all about keeping it simple

Say it with me:

Communication comes down to turning your mind tangible via words.

THAT'S IT.
Notice I said 'your mind.'

Which means you need to understand your mind if you wanna be a good communicator

The most important dialogue is the dialogue with yourself
Just pick any vehicle on getting to know yourself

You'll soon see that everything connects

You can write via a Twitter, journal, blog etc

You can speak via public speaking, YouTube, podcast etc

Or you can just shut up & listen to your thoughts. That's meditation
'Which is the best path?'

The path that you can see yourself committing to the longest

If you want my advice...

Pick meditation & add writing or speaking

Meditation cuts your learning curve by a BIG margin
☆So a sample schedule

1. Meditate for 2 minutes ( start light & work your way up).

2. Journal for 15 minutes.

☆Another sample schedule:

1. Meditate for 2 minutes

2. Record a YouTube video about an interest
The more that you practice, the more that you can add later on

You become a communications monster

And you know yourself better than you ever knew yourself

That's when you begin unlocking a deeper intelligence
'Deeper intelligence?'

Yea deeper intelligence is intuition, creativity, ability to think on your feet etc

Very powerful

But gotta work yourself up to it
The more you invest in your communication, the more you see your life is becoming WHOLE

So the meditation spills over to your writing

Your writing improves your focus which makes you a better listener

And listening skills make you more charismatic in social interactions
If you don't know how to think for yourself, others will do it for you

Make no mistake about that

And their intentions maybe questionable at best
Don't let others think for you

☆That's the path of a victim

Think for yourself

☆That's the path of a victor

The gateway between the 2 world's is communication skills

All begins with the dialogue you have with yourself
In a noisy world where others compete with others...

Be different.

Compete with your prior day self. That's taking the path less taken.

But less taken to reach INFINITE magic
