Californians: did you know that at the start of the Coronavirus lockdown in March, news media (e.g. Sacramento press corps) were given gas passes to allow them to buy gas in emergency & declared "essential," while religious institutions were declared non-essential/punished?
Remember that when you read sneering news media accounts about people of faith suing in court for the same liberty the news media was given, without a lawsuit, at the outset of this crisis. The First Amendment protect both, but the state only recognizes one as important.
Now that we have established that @SovernNation is more special than others & got the magic gas pass, and also that every reporter thinks he/she is "essential," perhaps you could ask @GavinNewsom whether ballot harvesting in May 14 special election is "essential"? or forbidden?
