2/ to assist the Trump campaign - a detail lacking in Downer's account in later interview. This embellishment seems to presume knowledge of Steele dossier claims, already in circulation in July. Mook, who had been briefed by Perkins Coie on Steele, made this allegation on Jul 25.
3/ Handling Agent 1 in Rome knew this allegation from Steele dossier. It makes sense on a number of levels that Handling Agent 1 would have kept London up-to-speed on information from Steele, based in UK. Particularly since HA1 visited London to see Steele.
4/ while Haspel's presence at meeting between Dibble and FBI Legat doesn't prove that FBI Legat had been filled in on Steele allegation, it adds to the probability that he was. IMO this key element attributed to Papadopoulos was embellishment based on Steele fictions.
