THREAD: Here is a rundown of how even Finaldi's raunchiest tabloid witness Chari Michaels contends that, if anything, Wade and James should be suing their mothers.

Michaels also argues they had their chance to go against MJ when he was alive, especially during the 2005 trial.

Charli Michaels is among the core group of infamous ex-employees who spread mountains of paid and malicious innuendo about MJ from the Chandler allegations onward.

She was in a trio of paid Hard Copy stories & various books & tabloids including the sleazy "Unauthorized" in '94.

In 2005, Melville granted Sneddon permission to call her during his rebuttal case to rehash her sensational claims about MJ "harassing" animals, the "Mother's Day" incident with Joy (that Joy disputed even in Wade's post-2012 emails) and the nonsensical crotch-grabbing claims.

Although Charli Michaels did show up to court expecting to testify, Sneddon never called her.

If he had, his case would've ended w/ another ex-staffer who was paid even more by tabloids ($35k via Hard Copy), gossiped for books about seeing misconduct but never reported anything.

Finaldi references Charli in both Wade & James' cases alongside Blanca. He also refers to her during the appeals process.

Wade included Charli after she appeared in James'. Notably in Wade's fourth amended complaint and despite his mother advising him "wow none of that is true."

Charli claims she doesn't know if she quit or was fired. She has given multiple accounts of what triggered her departure from claiming she didn't want graveyard shift so stopped going in, to being terminated by Norma for allegedly spying on MJ.

She only worked < 2 years (90-92).

In 2016, Charli was deposed. She rehashed her tabloid fodder largely by simply having excerpts of her old statements read back.

Her self-righteous self now feigns interest only in justice, not $$$—despite 100% money-motivated stories including tabloid profit-sharing w/ attorney.

At various points she comes close to acknowledging that her claims may well be made-up, culled from her own mind based in part on her own abusive and troubled childhood.

"whether they are assumptions on my part or actual facts...Was I imagining things? Was it really
happening?"

With that backstory, I want to focus on a subset of Michaels' deposition that undoubtedly disturbed Finaldi and made his face turn more red than usual.

Michaels repeatedly called Finaldi's clients selfish to be pursuing $ and insisted they should be suing their parents, not MJ.

While still playing the innocent victim herself by expressing disgust of having to relive her past, both off-record and on-record she called them selfish and stated:

"I think it's very selfish of them to sue MJJ Productions for financial benefit and to use me to do so."

Michaels further said IF they are telling the truth now, they should do so on their own accord:

"If they're telling the truth now...they should have their own evidence than to go back 25 years & make me relive MY abuse and my feelings...I shouldn't need to have to relive this."

Specific about the parents and in the context of believing the allegations, Michaels stated:

"They should be suing their parents. Joy knew. Joy had instinct. They should be suing their own parents at this point and not involving me... Their mothers had their chances. "

Flustered by Charli's claim that the moms should be culpable more than MJJ entities, Finaldi asked if they should sue her also for not doing anything 😂.

(If money was not their objective & they did believe these witnesses, they rightfully WOULD sue Blanca/Michaels/Joy/Steph).

Charli continues expressing anger toward Finaldi, describing his demanding and aggressive behavior for her deposition.

"I am hostile... It's selfish of you & your boys to do this to me... You threw this all on me within 24 hrs. or 48 hrs., & now I have to sit here & recall it."

Charli explains how Finaldi subpoenaed her.

"scaring the heck out of my son & making my son call me at work & have to race home from work to see what guy wasn't leaving my property. Scaring my son & on the phone w/ sheriff & not telling my son what was going on. just a mess."

Before Wade realized he could profit more handsomely from an estate settlement, he put the blame of alleged abuse squarely on his parents in his book.

Charli Michaels' amidst all of her salacious garbage still gets this one fact right. Joy should be Defendant A on any lawsuit.
