Jkhkhjjmkhj! LOOK AT THESE BABY WOODCOCKS PRACTICING THEIR BOOTY BOP

Video credit: facebook.com/groups/2416342…
Why do woodcocks booty bop? We don’t 100% know but it might agitate worms, their primary food source, and make them easier for the birds to find.
Other true facts about the woodcock: they are the slowest fliers of any bird, achieving speeds of 5mph/8kph during their courtship flights.
Their eyes are placed high and so far back on their heads they can see virtually 360, and can actually watch the sky for predators while they have their heads down searching for food.
Other names for this bird include the: Labrador twister, night partridge, bog sucker, hokumpoke, fiddle squeak and TIMBERDOODLE
