.@GeoffRBennett Spain/Italy testing per capita is almost the same as Germany but have very high deaths.

NY tests way more than other states and deaths here are sick.

Germany tested only 1.7 million; hardly close to a 650K tests a day rate.

“Testing” is a buzzword. ENOUGH!
.@GeoffRBennett At this point, Germany tested only 2% of its population. This is hardly large enough to explain why their deaths are low and why they are opening up soon. Maybe a really early closure for a few weeks helps. But not how/when Italy/Spain (NY/NJ) did it. These
lockdowns keep companions away from hospitals; leading to patients being neglected and it leads to their death too; especially older ones. This is not hyperbolic talk @GeoffRBennett. Let’s get off of these buzzwords and lets fix problems where it matter most: HOSPITALS!
