So here is (April 2) National Guidance acknowledging care homes will take in more ppl to free NHS beds.
Provisions for symptomatic/tested patients.
None for asymptomatic/untested.
If such patients have been in contact with others b4 symptoms, means all residents must be isolated?
One thing I can tell you is National Guidance is *not* built on the principle of precaution.
I even doubt a doctor laid his/her eyes on it before it was released. Some things don't make sense.
Any comment @richardhorton1 @drjanaway @doctor_oxford?
I really would like to get an expert opinion on "short-time exposure is not exposure" or "vulnerable people need to isolate 14 days, but 7 days is enough for the 'younger normally healthier' " -as in that makes them less contagious?
National Guidance needs peer-reviewing ASAP
