NEW: I’ve been in touch with @unisontheunion tonight which represents lots of medical staff on the #covid19 front line. They tell me if gowns run out, their members may decide they cannot work this weekend. Full statement below. 
I’ve also seen emails tonight which show that Buckinghamshire NHS trust is asking schools to ask parents if they or their workplaces have “Adult sized overalls/coveralls” or “Adult sized long sleeve lab coats” given their gown supply is so low.
Buckinghamshire Trust have confirmed to me that they’ve asked schools to ask parents for “alternatives to gowns, including lab coats and industrial overalls”
