I've been closely following developments on the the respiratory and neurological impact of covid-19, but this is the first I'd heard of how widespread cardiac events are. Interoception pandemic. 😟
We will definitely add our cardiac interoception task to our patient study if we get to do it.
In light of the data suggesting that as many as 5% of covid-19 victims may suffer lasting damage to multiple visceral organs including kidneys, liver, lung, heart, and possibly brain, calls for 'herd immunity' and ending lockdown prematurely are downright insane.
