Absolutely amazed at the brilliant minds missing the obvious problem with the current coronavirus situation.

There is no scenario on the planet where government, economists, epidemiologists, or anyone else should be making decisions about my ability to live my life.

None.
I see liberty-loving people discussing the calculus of opening up the economy as if it is a business, medical, or ethical decision that a few enlightened minds need to make.

Americans have been completely robbed of their personal liberties without a shot being fired.
Shutting down the economy is saving lives—with or without the coronavirus. Heart attacks are down. Automobile deaths have plummeted. SIDS deaths are nearly non-existent.

If everything is about saving lives, then shut down the economy. Forever.
"But this is different!" they scream. "Car accidents aren't contagious!"

They'll then launch into some excel spreadsheet showing the cost/benefit ratios of what if this or what if that. How many deaths are worth opening the economy now?

This is the most stupid take I've seen.
Your calculations and spreadsheets are meaningless. Or at least they should be meaningless, if the U.S. Constitution was still honored.

It is not your—or anyone else's—job to make determinations about whether I can sit on a park bench or swim in the ocean.
I don't care what transmission rates are. I don't care what mortality rates are. The government should not have the authority to make decisions about whether I can work today and try and feed my family—IN ANY SCENARIO.

It doesn't matter what the numbers or spreadsheets say.
"But this is CONTAGIOUS!" they'll scream again.

Everything is contagious. Got it?

EVERYTHING. IS. CONTAGIOUS.

Every decision you make. Every particle of air you breathe. Every dollar you spend. All of it affects everyone else.
In the United States, your right to buy a gun is contagious. It affects everyone around you.

Your neighbors may get killed if you decide to shoot at a target on your back fence. Your neighbors may experience less crime b/c your neighborhood is known to be well-armed.
Even though having a firearm is a personal decision, it affects many people around you. But guess what? It doesn't matter. We decided long ago that personal liberty—& a hedge against encroaching government—were more important.

And so we don't control that aspect of your life.
If there was an explosion of gun sales, as has happened recently, we wouldn't see daily Presidential briefings with criminologists warning of an impending crime wave, pointing to scary death toll charts & the need to close all businesses and public parks to cut down on deaths.
If the DMV was reporting an explosion of new driver's licenses being issued, with warnings of the inevitable rise in death and injury that comes with new drivers, we would not expect to see them on TV explaining why people can't drive to work or visit their relatives anymore.
Everything is contagious.

Everything you do affects those around you. Your irresponsible behavior puts others lives in danger. Their irresponsible behavior puts yours in danger.

What is the answer to this conundrum?

YOU protect YOURSELF and your family.
To want or expect the government to do this for you—in ANY scenario—is counter to the spirit and ideals of America.

If you want the government to do this for you, you are living in the wrong country.
The earth's crust is packed with the corpses of unfortunate souls—their lives cut short because well-intentioned idiots thought the government would do a better job at protecting itself than individuals could.
A few years ago, I proposed the need for a new amendment to our constitution. I called it the Medical Freedom and Liberty Amendment.
In the Medical Freedom and Liberty Amendment, I proposed:

The United States Government & its agencies may not compel or deny any medical procedure, treatment, or substance whether by force, detainment, fines, taxes or the withholding of benefits.
Just so you know, I do not believe the quotes you see from founding fathers Benjamin Rush and Thomas Jefferson regarding medical liberty are verifiable. Unless you find a better source than I've been able to, I would not use them.
While the founding fathers put safeguards in place to guard against a possible dystopian future where despots took away the rights of American citizens, they could have never imagined this would one day take place in the name of science & public health—without a shot being fired.
So here we are: spring of the year 2020, & the inalienable rights given to us by God, inalienable—to be taken away by NO ONE—have been taken away.

Just for a time, we're told. Just a short time, until we can get things under control. After that, you'll get them back. Promise.
It may be a NEW NORMAL once things open back up, but it will basically be the same.

Right.
I announced my desire for a new amendment to the Constitution to guard against medical tyranny but had no idea it would get as bad as it has gotten.
In just two months—from the mouths of epidemiologists—our American lives have been reduced to rubble—something no foreign invader could ever hope to accomplish.
V-E Day. The end of World War II. Look how ecstatic with joy they were.

While over 400,000 Americans lost their lives in that war, Germany never came close to stripping away the freedoms that public and government health officials have taken in the last two months.
During the war, Americans did their part to help. They planted victory gardens to make sure everyone had enough food.

Today, seeds are banned. They are preventing you from growing your own food.
Much of this madness can be attributed to who I call Fear Merchants. They are the union of pharmaceutical and government officials, backed by the medical and scientific community.

They use fear to control and they are very good at it.
The tyranny from the marriage of pharmaceutical & governmental powers is why I proposed a Medical Freedom & Liberty amendment to the Constitution.

Unfortunately, there are only a few politicians who may understand the implications of what is going on now. @RandPaul @RonPaul
The quarantines and economic shutdown ruining our country right now is the inevitable result of a group of people with too much power—many of them unelected.

We can NEVER let this happen again.
I gave up pushing the Medical Freedom & Liberty Amendment years ago because most people weren't ANGRY enough. The dystopian future I portray in the fearmerchants.org project seemed unbelievable to them.

Now there are many ANGRY people. Now, maybe it is time to try again?
I don't know about you, but this coronavirus quarantine and economic shutdown has been a wake-up call for me.

It doesn't matter how well-intentioned our government is, the Fear Merchants have more sway. They have more power.

They got what they wanted—even with Trump in office.
I released a novel in 2016—it's called Massa Damnata. Notice anything about the cover?
Like many of you, I have followed #QAnon related happenings over the past several years. I have been inspired by it and all the people around the movement. I am so hopeful that corruption & the apparent evil going on in our world is about to be destroyed.

But I have a concern.
I am concerned about our loss of liberty under the guise of public health. I am concerned that people aren't taking what has happened to us seriously.

There will be more disease. There will be more infection.
It doesn't matter if viruses or infections are naturally occurring or not, the precedent our federal and state governments have set is very bad.

Quarantines and economic shutdowns will happen again—if we do not do something.
Your second amendment rights—privileges many have fought and died to protect—are meaningless if you allow your personal liberties to be taken away by the charts and spreadsheets of epidemiologists & their pharmaceutical overlords.

So how can we PEACEFULLY prevent these things?
