For some odd reason, I woke up this morning with CHESS on my mind as it relates with different personality types, how people think and how to interact with them (especially when working with humans in teams)

THREAD

1. THE PAWN: The most basic minds so there's no point discussing strategy as they are best in taking orders & can execute sacrificially. They can only move in one direction, one step at a time, but very ambitious & if you nurture them to maturity, they can become quite powerful

2. THE KNIGHT: Very valuable team player who won't do well working alone. Works best when teamed up with has this person can make very unexpected moves and take you unawares. Has limited foresight, but can come up with amazing ideas in the short term. Has to often retrace steps

3. THE ROOK: Often understated and are stickler for rules as they move only in straight lines. They are great visionaries and because they aren't limited by space and can move very far very fast. As quickly as they think, once they feel threatened, they retreat very quickly

4. THE BISHOP: Starts off with a burden of high expectation as they are very close to power but like the ROOK, is also a stickler for rules & will move in straight lines but not the straight lines you expect as the can demonstrate ethical flexibility.

5. QUEEN: The unlimited power broker, extremely flexible with morals/ethics & can move in any direction, in as many steps as possible. Can play either the short or long strategy, can be a horrible enemy (offensive play) or your best defence. Terrifying one you always want around

6. KING: Pretends to have command but doesn't. Always seem vulbnerable & if you lose them, it's over for everyone & yet, no one knows the value they bring. Never does anything except act in self defence. Will risk everyone for their survival

7. Knowing your place & that of others is what allows cohesions & all these personalities come together to make a perfect team. Accepting each one for their strength & weakness what defines success.

ONLY a pawn can be converted, so don't spend too much trying to convert others
