why mask wearing has not yet been formally recommended by the government
"Masks may have a marginal positive respect" in limiting spread of virus @uksciencechief insists; ie it would help reduce spread, but not massively. And masks would be most helpful in enclosed spaces or where there is crowding (which there should not be with social distancing)
