Every private enterprise forever indebted to the government, whether or not an equity stake was a condition of rescue; government mandarins deciding which enterprises are "essential" and which are doomed; state control equated with "science" and liberty deemed irrational.
A perpetual state of emergency where every statist initiative becomes "the moral equivalent of war"; a political class that can easily threaten the livelihoods of anyone who challenges their bids for greater power; a state that suffers no pain while the private sector shrivels.
Poverty treated as a virtue while ambition is a sin for everyone except the clergy of the State; the better times of the past banished from memory as a regressive fantasy we can never return to; a future of ever-greater control where "give me liberty" means give me death.
Free speech a dangerous indulgence permitted for only those with the right credentials; a few harmless dissident ideas allowed to live in captivity; the right to LISTEN threatened once the right to SPEAK has been subdued; questions forbidden while mandatory answers are provided.
The presumption of innocence becomes a privilege reserved for elites with the right party credentials; all others presumed guilty from birth and punished without trial; individual crimes excused while class crimes are prosecuted without mercy or hope of parole.
This left-wing utopia is not a choice you will make. It will be forced upon you unless you fight against it with all your strength. You will never be asked if you consent to any of it. The very notion of consent will be reclassified as a dangerous right-wing fever dream. /end
