@lhfang Just a quick note about your recent article. Dear Mr. Fang,

In reading, I can sense a lot of fear in your article from “The Intercept.” Sending out the all call about – Those evil Right-wing, Conservative Evangelical, Republicans. They’re out to rescind the votes of the
minority – AGAIN! Ugh! The nerve! Democracy dies in darkness. And here it is, in plain soundcloud bits for all to hear! We Gottem! Red-handed! Gotcha!

So, for the reader, let’s take a gander at the transcripts of the sound bites that you are alerting the masses of the
under-handed draconian tactics that rogue Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of True the Vote, and her secretive religious right minions plan on executing this voting session. Let’s parse her evil plans.

Catherine Engelbrecht:
“We have an app that’s called “Ground” that is useful
for organizing. Used for recruiting and training for Election Integrity Teams and individuals. We have a new initiative called “Continue to Serve” which is a program recruiting veterans and first responders to work inside the polls. You want to talk about those who understand
and respect law and order and chain of command. You get some seals in those polls. And they’re going to say, “No-no this is what it says. This is how we’re going to play this show.” And that’s what we need. We need people who are unafraid to call it like that they see it, all
the way down the line. And that line is long, because it’s not just election day. It’s early election. It’s mail-in ballots. It’s central count. There are so many places where Citizens can be involved.”

So, it seems that Engelbrecht may have some valid concerns about voter
fraud. So maybe we look at this out of the context of Voting, but instead as a business. Owners like to have their books balanced. They want to make sure that the money they invest into their business is not wasted or stolen, but is making money. Customers like to know that they
are getting their money’s worth, when patronizing a business. They hate being cheated! Wouldn’t you agree? No one likes being promised one thing, and getting another. If the owner suspects someone is stealing money from the cache, they’re going to have to depend on others to be
the eyes as well as themselves. They rely on testimony. On facts. On witnesses. This is not for the faint at heart. It calls upon people of integrity to call someone out on their actions. The person who is stealing might try to evade them. Or if there are a group of people
stealing, it becomes harder. That’s how crime works. Intimidation. Pressure.

Oh, by the way, you do know that having poll challengers is completely legal? Democrats and Independents may also have Poll challengers as well. This isn’t just a Republican thing. We don’t want
anyone to cheat from our side either. So feel free to set up your challengers. That’s how equality works.

Looks like she’s considering calling upon our nation’s finest. Those who have sacrificed their lives for this country; Veterans and First Responders – the police- people
who swore to protect and defend that pesky paper – the Constitution. Ugh! People who have been on the front lines are not afraid to deal with intimidating people. They protected everyone, regardless of race, creed, or color. Why should they be any different for one of the most
important events of our Constitutional Republic? I am not sure why you are questioning her motives from this soundbite, unless, you have issues with the police or those who have served.

Oh, and btw, if you attend one of those training seminars, they talk about the importance of
people not being in uniform. Not armed. To hold the integrity of the election. But I guess that wouldn’t be important if you are trying to push for complete mail-in ballots.

Sound bite #2
Senator McGovern won by 125 votes in South Dakota recount. Sen. Daschill won by26 votes in
a recount. Both recounts were on a reservation. They said that votes fell off a pick up. And Murcowski who ran a primary as an independent won…with the Eskimo vote there...Sen.--- lost to a lightweight like Johnson by 500 votes. The last vote counted was on Shannon County,
another reservation.

Next election he hired hundreds of lawyers to follow. They got in pick up trucks, went and voted on another reservation. They could vote on two different names, no accountability. The lawyers protected that vote. But think of the impact that Sen. McGovern
and Sen. Daschle had on recounts that nobody held accountable. The WSJ was the only one that wrote an article about the voter fraud. But nobody wanted to be accused of being a racist or a bigot. Right? And this is what’s happening all over the country.
So what action steps can be
taken to address this issue? Besides hiring lawyers, I guess, to follow some of these votes in small states, where they have such a huge impact. You’ve got to lawyer up, and I think what Katherine mentioned trying to recruit former first responders...and one of the problems is
you’re the average Republican poll watcher, or me, when I was a teen kid doing this, do you want to go into an inner city precinct or a tribal precinct, and be the “Republican” there to “oversee things” That’s not a comfortable place to be. And that’s where this fraud happens.
So, yeah, you’ve got to lawyer-up, and you’ve also got to find people who are capable.
C.E. And I echo that. It’s all part of the piece/peace. And to be able to say, “Here are groups that are activated to go work in the polls. And we would all say, “Go, go in groups of two or
three. Don’t go alone. Because if you see something, and you’re all by yourself, what can you do.”

So this sound bite was your attempt to demonize this group as racist! Xenophobic! Ha! Another Gotcha! This was where you bold-faced Engelbrecht’s words:

“Do you want to go into
an inner city precinct or a tribal precinct and be the Republican there to oversee things? I mean, that is not a comfortable place to be and that is where the fraud happens,” said England. “We have to find people.”

Now, the few things that you didn’t mention in the text were the
instances where “Ballots fell of the pick-up (trucks) or where They got in pick up trucks, went and voted on another reservation. They could vote on two different names, no accountability. But that part wasn’t important.

Then you tried pinning the awkward whiter person trying
to “keep the bad minority” in check- card.
“Do you want to go into an inner city precinct or a tribal precinct and be the Republican there to oversee things? I mean, that is not a comfortable place to be and that is where the fraud happens,” said England.
BUT what you failed to
mention was that these guys had hired HUNDREDS of lawyers in order to intimidate others from reporting. The fact that only the WSJ reported on it, because they KNEW that all anyone had to do was the throw the race card out to shut up any whistle blower. Why? Because intimidation
is effective. Go in twos or threes? Intimidation from lawyers is real.

Let me take this even one step further – who were these thugs really stealing from? The White Man? NO! They were stealing, through lying and intimidation, from their own people on their own reservations!
Our system is based on one vote per person. Not impersonating someone else. That, too, is stealing. Whether it is from your family members, it is still stealing. And it’s wrong. “Losing ballots off the back of a pick up truck is evil. Just as evil as dumping ballot machines in
the San Francisco Bay. napavalleyregister.com/news/sf-electi…. To tell you the truth, it’s hard to deal with any ethnicity who is stealing. Remove the location and the ethnicity, and you would have the same situation. Someone stealing someone’s votes, and intimidating others from reporting is
evil. Again, Democrats are legally able to challenge the same things, with the same rules. Do you see how that works?

Let’s not forget that Catherine said that they need to “find people.” I’m assuming that you think that Republicans need to go to the nearest Conservative
Bouncer academy to find people who have a bone to pick with minorities. Your tone creates the one of division. As if no minorities ever vote for anything other than Democrats. Isn’t that a little racist? People volunteer to be poll challengers. Her last sentence of the previous
sound bite said, “There are so many places where Citizens can be involved.” Voting is all about the Citizens. If you would actually listen to her, you would see that this is where she’s coming from. But that’s not sensationalism.

Sound Bite #3
Emcee (Ken Blackwell, a member
of the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity – introducing Morton Blackwell as his cousin due to their shared last name) btw, Ken Blackwell is Black: Cousin Blackwell is first.
Blackwell: I’m Morton Blackwell. Not everyone who knows it, but I’ve been a member of
the Republican National Committee for 32 years. And I’m unopposed for re-election… Decades ago, there was a lawsuit in which the RNC was involved. And the Chairman of the RNC, who is not remembered fondly, for having done this, signed what was called a consensus decree, in
which, the Republican National Committee agreed that they would do “essentially nothing” in respect to ballot security. Democrats didn’t have this. The major aspects to ballot security fell then to the organization that Brad mentioned then the National Republican Lawyers
Association. And they did a lot of work, but there was constant complaining that the RNC which has a lot more resources than the RNLA, couldn’t weigh in. As I understand it, eventually, just not long ago, this consent-decree was voided and the RNC now has and unrestricted
authority to weigh in on ballot security operations.
My question is that since that consent-decree has been discontinued, have you noticed resources coming from the Republican National Committee that have been well-directed in ballot security and if not, maybe I can help prod
them into doing something.

Other speaker: The answer to that is, “No.”
Engelbrecht: I’ll second that answer.
Speaker: That consent-decree was one of the dumbest things that they ever did, and it finally(ended) the judge, the senior judge,(from 30 years ago) finally died. And it
was assigned to a new judge, and the new judge finally decided to end the consent-decree. But I’m not aware, I don’t know if all you are,
that they’ve been doing anything with trying to try to make sure that we have a secure election.

Blackwell: If there’s something that can be
done, let’s write something, I can write to my fellow members of the RNC, and get resources directed to this.”

Seems like you have some real problems with Morton Blackwell wanting to direct Republican resources to this.” What ‘this” is, is that you think that Blacks were
intimidated to not vote. Let’s just say hypothetically, because there may have been a group of people that didn’t want Blacks voting, Even though that’s disgusting and wrong, But that’s not what happened. They were wanting others to know that voter fraud would not be tolerated
.intimidated to not vote. Let’s just say hypothetically, because there may have been a group of people that didn’t want Blacks voting, Even though that’s disgusting and wrong, But that’s not what happened. They were wanting others to know that voter fraud would not be tolerated.
Who would have a problem about that? Do you get offended at stores that have “Shoplifters will be prosecuted?” You shouldn’t.

This section divulges the 1981 Consent-Decree, saying that Republicans would no longer every push for election integrity. I guess that’s code words
for Evil Republicans can intimidate minority voters? Am I getting it right? Because I remember in the 2008 Presidential Elections, the Black Panthers stood outside polling places with billy clubs and guns, ready to intimidate any voters to vote their way – or else! That doesn’t
see nice or fair. But I don’t recall you pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of those guys bullying anyone from from voting? Wouldn’t that be problem?

It seems you’re concerned about this Consent-Decree as some kind of ulterior motive to do harm.

“devote significant resources
” into “ballot integrity.”

I’m trying to look at your sources that say that there were undercover police who “reportedly carried holstered guns.” That is part of the second amendment. Further down, you mention that many states have laws that police cannot be at the polls.
Again, having attended a training session, we discussed the importance of why police should not be allowed; their presence could be construed as intimidating. What’s important to note regarding that, is that this “Consent-Decree” has been defunct since 2011.

“Police violence has
historically been used as tool for voter intimidation in America, especially in communities of color,” said Sylvia Albert, director of voting and elections at Common Cause. “This is why many states have laws stating police cannot be at polls,” Albert added. “Encouraging law
enforcement to monitor polls is another old tactic that partisan operatives are trying to use to stop Americans from exercising their constitutional right to vote.”

You claim that all of the accusations of voter fraud are fake. If they are, then you refused to acknowledge the
incidents mentioned on the very sound bites you described. You mention that you fear that Republicans are “going at it again,” paving the way for minorities to be targeted to be intimidated. If that were true, I’d be totally on board. As would be the Republicans that you are
deeming as racists in your article.

I’m not sure of your sourcing of the incidents you described from New Jersey, that’s important to have. You’re much too young to have been there, or at least old enough to remember from an adult perspective. But I would ask you to carefully
consider some of the following points:

So, Mr Fang, I guess the biggest part that I have with this article is that it seems like you and many other leftists have a real problem with voter integrity. Again, if this were a business, and there were rumors of fraud or theft, don’t
minorities deserve to have their votes protected?

Another thing that you fail to mention is that since President Trump has been elected in 2016, that there has been a HUGE migration away from the Democrat Party. Almost 35% of the African Americans are very Pro-Trump. Hispanics
accounted for over 1/3 of the 2019 New Mexico Trump rally in Rio Rancho. Our Native Americans love love love their Donald Trump. Another demographic is the LGBT group. Though persecuted by those from democrats in their community, Brandon Straka, a gay actor, has called out the
hypocrisy of the current Democrat Party. The hate. The judgmentalism. The lies. The Marxist ties. The manipulation. The coercion. And as many other Democrats who have #WalkedAway, they acknowledge that they didn’t change, but that the Democrat party was no longer the party that
represents them.

So the only thing that an abusive group of people have to do to make others think that they are still the cool kid on the block is to lie, cheat, and lie some more.

The democrat party doesn’t have a chance to beat Donald J. Trump this fall. Even uncontested, he
had millions of voters come out to vote for him in the primaries well superseding the total amounts of both Biden and Bernie together. Then the manipulation of the Corona Virus came along. Being strung along regarding when we can “get back to normal” aka “voting.” But almost
simultaneously, states across the Union, start pushing the complete unvetted ballots for the primaries.

Why is this a problem? Because of the problems spoken of, missing ballots, ballot harvesting, same day registration. When I asked the trainer for our Voter Registrars,
about what to do regarding illegal voters, for instance, if someone was a felon? She said that we wouldn’t have to worry about that. There was no real talk regarding integrity or checking. But that wasn’t satisfactory.

Free and Fair Elections are the backbone of our county.
Both sides are afforded poll challengers. To keep everyone on the up and up. So either you are ignorant regarding to how this works, or you are blatantly stirring up wrong information in order to misinform minorities, in order to push for a voting apparatus prone to fraud.
I guess the most vulgar part of this is that so many minorities are looking forward to voting for Trump. For breaking away “from the plantation” as some put it. For taking a stand, a political stand against the oppressive Democrat Party, for someone that they truly want to vote
for. Someone who has delivered on almost every single promise that he has made. And, until this virus, had created the most robust economy with THE LOWEST unemployment rates EVER! This is after decades of voting for Democrats who panders for the minority votes, but then never
delivered on anything. Trump said, “Vote for me. What have you got to lose?” This manipulation of our voting system is the most fraudulent operation that I’ve seen in history. I encourage you to look at this through some different lenses.

What a shame it would be to steal
the privilege of millions of Americans, that sacred honor and duty, to vote. That secret ballot, the beauty of a fair and free election. To participate in a democracy. Historic. Only to be snuffed out and compromised. I don’t think that’s fair. People don’t like to be cheated.
They don’t like the rules changed midstream. Some have already voted in the primaries, the good ole fashioned way. Let’s not mess it up with crazy lawsuits. The Wisconsin voters braved going out to vote, amidst the CV crisis. They went with masks and 6 feet apart, wrapping the
line around the full block. Voting was that important to them. From the reports, most of those constituents were minorities!

One may think that this could look like a manufactured crisis, determined to bring down the most successful President ever.
But I’ll save that for another letter.

Sincerely,
Marcie M May
