In early April, 18% US and 15% UK workers report being out of work, compared to only 5% in Germany.
Of those in work, 43% UK employees and 31% US report being furloughed. 35% of employees in Germany on short time work
In the UK, half of furloughed workers say their employer has asked they take annual leave while furloughed. 15% report that they are still being asked to work on furlough.
In the US, 53% of furloughed workers have lost their health insurance coverage. 24% report they are still being asked to work.
