It's hard to stand back and really recognise that we've reached a situation where the US President can suggest people inject disinfectant as a cure for a virus.

All you can say is that you lived in that moment when the President of the United States suggested––in the middle of worldwide pandemic––that we could inject ourselves with disinfectant as a cure for the coronavirus, COVID 19.
