What does his health have to do with his mood being cheerful or ebullient? "He's recovering very well. He is heart-broken about the loss of life, sends his deepest sympathies to the bereaved and is determined to get back to work as soon as possible". Same info, but RESPECTFUL.
Hancock is the fourth minister to describe the PM's mood as "cheerful" or similar in the last few days. Why does everyone think this is some sort of necessary statement, rather than the truth? Is it not possible that people keep describing him as full of cheer because HE IS?
Find me one occasion from his past, that demonstrates Boris Johnson's mood is impacted by anything that is happening to anyone other than Boris Johnson?
