NEWS from #Toksvigs! To celebrate #Beltain, which is next Friday 1 May, we'll be lighting an imginary bonfire in the area of #Toksvigs which exists at the glorious @butserfarm - I mean, just look at it. It's the perfect location for a belting Beltain. 1/
None of #Toksvigs staff have been furloughed, so the great joy is that we can do all the serving of our usual delicious food and drink (with a special Beltain menu) AND the brilliant staff at Butser can just hang out and have fun with us! As if that wasn't enough good news... 2/
Beltain is the beginning of Summer, so we will be launching our #SummerMenu next Friday! We'll also be feasting at Beltain, of course, alongside all the traditional activities you might imagine. There will be folk music and storytelling, dancing and crafting, and more... 3/
At sundown, we'll be imaginarily burning an imaginary Wickerman! All of this will, of course, be free of charge - but if you want to bung a couple of quid their way, that would be really wonderful. It's a magnificent site, and hugely important for historic research & education 4/
