Re: the Larry King Live caller accusation by Tara/Ryan Grim.

I was able to find the transcript of the episode in question on Nexis Uni (formerly LexisNexis Academic). The transcript as @ryangrim describes it is accurate.
Some people have raised concerns that there wasn‘t an episode filmed on August 11, 1993. If you check Google Play’s episode list, August 11, 1993 is notably absent.
However, looking at the rest of the transcript it is clear that the episode was recorded on August 11. Later in the episode, Larry King discuses Jon Demjanjuk, a former Nazi guard who was charged with war crimes In Israel. In 1993, Jon Demjanjuk’s conviction was overturned.
In the transcript, Larry King says “prosecutors today recommended against retrying [Demjanjuk] for war crimes.” An archived NYT article from 1993 shows that prosecutors recommended against retrying Demjanjuk on August 11.
The caller was listed from San Luis Obispo, CA. Others have found documents showing that Tara’s mother was living in the cities of either Morro or Oceano. Both are cities in San Luis Obispo County.
The call took place on August 11, 1993. According to documents Tara provided, her last day in Biden‘s office was August 8, 1993.
Does any of this prove that Biden sexually assaulted Tara? No, absolutely not. The words used by the caller don’t imply that there was anything of that nature.

But, if it is in fact Tara’s mother, it does give credence to the idea that she told her mom that *something* happened
But again, what that *something* is is entirely up in the air.

The call seems to track with Tara’s claims from a year ago, where Tara said that those around Biden are protecting him and that Biden was unaware of “what was happening” to her
For greater context, the episode was about a White House counselor who committed suicide. It is mostly about the role of the media and whether or not they contributed towards his death. It is in no way about politicians mistreating their employees or anything sexual in nature
Really salient point on Reddit:

If Biden did in fact sexually assault Tara, why would Tara’s mother claim “the only thing she could do” would be to go to the press? I am sure the police would have been an option.

Again leads credence to the idea that it is about Biden’s staff
Really unsurprising who is pushing this story.

There was no discussions of sexual assault in the phone call, let alone in the show. The episode was about the toxic nature of the media in DC, not about people abusing staffers.
