I’m watching Batman Begins. Good fun. But whose decision was it to cast Bale? I spent every scene where his identity is a mystery (including his girlfriend looking at him from three bloody inches away) shouting: LOOK AT HIS MOUTH! HE HAS THE WORLD’S MOST RECOGNISABLY SILLY TEETH.
The greatest Batman was Michael Keaton and the best Batman movie is Batman Returns. THERE, I SAID IT.
Sorry to all the fans of Nolan’s designer-bleak and Bale‘s endless, tortured whingeing FOR THREE HOURS but simply put Keaton, Pfeiffer, Walken and DeVito will never be bettered.
