This bad-faith #DropOutBiden thread by @peterdaou is a divisive porky intended to reignite Bernie's dead campaign and was worth my immediate UNFOLLOW.

Reade's allegation is NOT credible and here's why:

#1 There is NO BROAD CORROBORATION of Reade's story. Only 2 personal friends and her mother are willing to support it.

NO ONE ELSE in Biden's then-Senate office remembers any talk of sexual assault allegations by Biden toward Reade or *anyone else.*

#2 There is no PATTERN of this type of allegation against Biden.

Sure, he's always been a touchy guy. I know lots of men like that. Big deal. It's a cultural thing and has never bothered me.

NO ONE ELSE in his 78 years has accused him of *sexual assault.*

#3 This allegation doesn't comport with Biden's REPUTATION.

Say others who worked with Biden:

"It's preposterous."

"When you work on the Hill, everyone knows who the good guys are and who the bad guys are, and Biden was a good guy."

#3 Reade says she filed a COMPLAINT with the Senate in 1993 - but it DOESN'T ACTUALLY EXIST And also she *never made a copy of it.*

#4 Although she says she filed a report with the Senate, she didn't file a POLICE report at the time.

Who files a sexual assault report with the Senate, but not the police? UNLESS, of COURSE, she never did EITHER because it's BUNK and IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

#5 Reade won't commit to exactly where or when it happened.

Contrast that to E. Jean Caroll's account of Trump's assault on her. She remembers EVERYTHING: the store, the dressing room, the time. Trauma makes memories MORE VIVID.

#6 Her story MORPHED.

Last year she said Biden stroked her neck. Now suddenly she remembers a new detail! "Oh yeah! I forgot! He actually stuck his fingers under my skirt and ... !"

Girl, please.

#7 She says she called every single lawyer that was recommended to her by "Time's Up Legal Defense Fund."

However, NOT ONE of them found it credible. They all refused to represent her.

#8 This "new evidence!" is ridiculous. Reade's mother suddenly remembers that it was SHE who called Larry King's show years ago about her daughter having an uncomfortable experience.

Well, I'm going to challenge her on that and say the caller was my sister-in-law's friend's mom.

#9 And I think it's a little WEIRD that Tara Reade wrote all those Medium posts and tweets praising Putin, and then somehow it's Larry King - now a paid Russian State propagandist - whose show her mother said she called.

This person is absolutely not credible.

But what about BELIEVE WOMEN??
