Whoever has passed on #TooHotToHandle is missing some much needed entertainment in home isolation (it can also get you horny but what doesn't?)
A bunch of first world horny models are kept in a luxury resort, but banned from having any sexual activity.. including masturbation.
*Steamy*
So there is Chloe who calls herself "dumb". "Omg he is going to find out that I'm dumb". "Guys don't tell him that I'm dumb ok pls". She gets a workshop on, wait for it, Yoni Puja, and breaks up with an asshole and screams "Women Empowerment".
Bryce, who owns a boat, claims to have had sex with a different girl each night before the show, after drawing a clock - "Bruh do you know where do we put 12 in a clock?"
Kelz, who is a hunk with a lion tattoo because Lion King is his favorite movie, asserts that he is an alpha male who wants the hottest girl in the resort...is single and frustrated throughout
There is Matthew who looks like Jesus and tries to flirt with the AI assistant Lana although Lana asks him to stfu
David calls him a "quintessential British gentleman" and walks around with sunscreen to rub on women's shoulders and butts
Sharron is like "I'm a Gender Studies student which gives him the blueprint to get girls" and he is the most proud of his penis. What even
Haley from USA doesn't know where Australia is and all other accent that's not American sounds the same to her lol
There is just one rule in the resort - don't do anything sexual and money will be deducted from their prize fund of $100k, like kissing costs 3k etc.
Francesca might have cost the group more than 12k on kissing different participants and a large chunk after she had sex with Harry. Girl's like "I'm a rebel, a rule breaker"
Not much of a drama, only dumb shit said so seriously we laugh out loud. Watch it!

Quite an interesting coincidence that I'm now reading Audre Lorde's fantastic essay written in 1978 - "The Use of the erotic : Erotic as power". It asks women to be in touch with the erotic power that lies within our deeply female and spiritual plane +
The patriarchal society oppresses the erotic power within women, asking them to turn away from the erotic, considering the erotic in women only when it serves men in bedroom, and treating the women in charge of the erotic as inferior
Audre Lorde asks us to recognize the power that erotic gives us to feel deep satisfaction in the things that we do, blurring the boundaries between our sexuality and our work. She considers the erotic as a powerhouse that enriches our life.

In 2011, someone from Malayala Manorama called me to ask about cinema going habits of kerala students in Chennai. I talked to him sincerely and a few days later they published a story +
I don't know if twisting is the right word. They maligned my tone and language and wrote some cringey s*it. Imagine Niram's Sona in the "madhurification-kaypology" scene talking about going to the cinema😖😖😖
I got to know about it when a batch mate added the report's image on FB and tagged me to make fun of me. I was the butt of all the jokes that day and I kept saying "this is not ME! this is not how I talk!"
Anyways, happened 9 years ago. But

Since there were many questions on the how:
0) The plan was to make chiffon cake that relies on the air trapped by meringue to rise
1) a little bit of yolk got mixed with whites- egg white did not form peaks-no meringue
2)Plan immediately changed to normal cake
3) But 7 eggs/1 cup of flour - not helping the science of baking.
More eggs - rubbery and tastes eggy
4) The sugar wasn't enough to add any taste to the whole concoction
5) did I say I forgot to grease the pan when I changed from chiffon to normal cake?

A bird’s-eye view at the different kinds of masculinity as depicted in Malayalam cinema. In the context of the rise of hegemonic toxic masculinity in the 90s with movies such as Devasuram or Narasimham + ImageImageImageImage
there were the “chiri padangal” (as Jenny Rowena called it) where the heroes were totally different from the likes of Induchoodan. The success of chiri padangal also means that the two conflicting kinds of masculinities co-existed in the 90s and afterwards+
Perhaps this study helps us find an answer to why Dasan was always rude to Vijayan, or why Dasan found women in all the movies in the trilogy while Vijayan did not, or why Appukuttan was incorrigibly idiotic throughout the Harihar nagar series. +

A detailed write-up about nepotism in Malayalam cinema industry by @neelkmenon. But one point I would like to add is the privilege star kids have in accessing opportunities
thenewsminute.com/article/nepoti…
Star kids might not have it easy in box office because of the "discerning audience", but star kids do have it easy in getting opportunities and multiple chances at proving themselves than outsiders. They are part of the network already, while outsiders struggle for the same
Pranav, even after a disaster like Irupatham Nootandu, is still being cast as the lead, while someone like Arun Kurien, for instance, who imo has more expressions than Pranav any day, still plays brother roles in movie after movie. Until a breakthrough moment, outsiders slug-

Jayasoorya as Rajeev is the salt to a bland dish that is 'Sufiyum Sujathayum'. While the main characters drift away in a dimensionless world, Rajeev brings some life as a frustrated husband
(Thread/spoilers) Image
The movie captivates us with its beautiful frames but it fails to show us why Sufi (Dev) and Sujatha (Aditi) are madly in love. Believe me, I'm all for the romance genre, but show me the romance and longing!
Beyond whirling dervishes and, apparently, being a "master of everything", who is Sufi? What's his conflict? While his mellowed expressions do impart a sense of mystery in the beginning, it gets tiring later on.
