1/ Never seen a reason to hold $BSV, but @placeholdervc works with a healthy balance of:

-Currently mineable assets ($BTC, $DCR, $ETH, $ZEC etc)
-Non-mineable assets, most of which provide value-flows to service-providers ($ANT, $MKR, $UMA, $ZRX, etc):

2/ @luke_wenceslas's comment about assets getting "magiced out of thin air" did put a smile on my face.

The way I see it, the *conception* of value of any asset is nothing but a long history of magic-ing things out of thin air.
3/ Value is a social construct. It exists between our minds only, and conceiving of things as yours, and therefore valuable to you, is a concept that came out of thin air (ie, the air between minds) around the Agricultural Revolution.
4/ The more a society comes to agree something is valuable, the more it is desired, the more scarce it becomes (if demand growth > supply growth), and therefore its value is reinforced.
5/ Now, we have all kinds of math to justify these conceptions of value and make them seem less subjective, with "capital assets" much more clearly supported by math than the "store-of-value" assets: placeholder.vc/blog/2019/4/26…
6/ The potential upside of individual SoV-assets like $BTC, $DCR and $ZEC is vast, and because it's hard to calculate mathematically, leaves much to the imagination. That can make these fan-favorites for large swathes of society.
7/ But casting aside ERC-20 capital assets like $ANT, $MKR, $UMA, $ZRX and more, simply because they don't have machines burning energy to underpin their creation, ignores the long and colorful history of how value is created.
8/ At @placeholdervc we see many of these ERC-20 capital assets as having the potential to surpass equities in how they globally provision services, govern stakeholders and distribute value.
9/ But as for $BSV @luke_wenceslas, we've never seen a compelling reason for it to store-value over the long term, or be a commonly used consumable/transformable.

I also don't see how you can claim it's "Satoshi's Vision" when no one can reliably prove who, or what, Satoshi is
