When the fabulous design team @penguinrandom proposed this cover, my heart started to pound because I knew my editor and my team really understood *exactly* what I wanted to do with this book. 2/
Kim is often caricatured or otherwise hyperbolized. I wanted to write something that analyzed his complete self, or at least try to get at that. 3/
The cover shows him as a real person, multi-dimensional.
Not a two-dimensional flatness that reduces him to a cartoon. 4/

Kim is more than just about nukes & missiles, soldiers marching in impossible unison, Dennis Rodman, or his haircut & weight.
