Why will this business work?

Packaging is very important to a lot of businesses.

They would prefer to pack items in paper bags than in Nylons.

Everyone wants something unique to them so they need to make their brand and products stand out.

Packaging is also important because if helps with customer attraction and retention.

What do you need to start.

1. Patterns
You can get this from
a. Freepik.com (Has both free and paid)

b. Google Geometric Pattern and find sites with nice ones.

c. Creativemarket.com (Here you will get a lot of inspitation)
They also have amazing patterns.

2. Design Apps
a. Canva to design templates.

b. Photoshop (optional) but if you know how it's a super plus

3. Mock Ups.

I will be using Renderforest.com

I did one last night so let me show you how.

Step 1:
I went to Freepik.com and searched for patterns.

I downloaded them.
It comes in a Zip folder but there is an image in the Folder.

I copied that image out.

I did this for about 10 different designs

The file comes in a Zipped folder because it is a vector and can only be edited with Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.

I don't have those.

All I need is the image.

Next, I went to Canva and placed them on a Template.

I also added my Brand name.

These are just 2 examples.

Next, I went to Renderforest and searched mock ups.

I went back to Canva and resized the mock up according to Renderforest sizes.

After that I went and placed the design on the product mockup.

I also tried this for pillows and frames.

The point is, you can design anything.

Without spending 1 Naira.

When you do a design, you don't know what it would look like yet and that's what mock ups exist for.

You can also do stuff like these

Before I got the bags I played with colours on Renderforest till I settled for yellow handles on one of them.

I'm Sure you get the drift now.

You can also do this for interior decor frames.

I placed it on a Mockup.

This can be a good look for my home office or house.

How to make money from this

1.I take this designs, watermarked and show them to business owners as samples

2. I tell them I will design for them with their colours and specifications.

3. I get a 50% upfront fee.

4. When they choose, I partner with a printer to print them out.

5. I deliver to my client

6. I take the clients testimonial and use it to get more clients

*Rinse and Repeat*

To remove the watermark, you'll have to pay $10 for a month which is like N4,500.

When the client pays, you use from their money to pay for it.

You have just started a business with "Other People's Money"

At this rate, you didn't spend a dime and had nothing to lose.
