-There is no 1magic way to make money in the markets Everyone needs to find what works for them
-After they finding method,1 needs to use exceptional risk control to manage trades
-Professionals use good money management, remain calm and plan their trades. One should read Mark Dogulas for sure.
-Keeping track of your trades is essential.stocktrader.com/trading-journa… might help to make one or you can even google as there are plenty of examples to help you with.
-The trick in in position sizing that is how much you should buy, become an expert in same,u don't need to worry about anything else
-It is critical to choose a method that is consistent with your own personality & conflict level An impatient nervous trader shouldn't try intraday
-If excitement is the only reason you trade,u should give up trading as sooner or later u will loose all
-Follow the same method of picking stocks for all days. If it's OI buzzers you pick, don't change it to MA breakers the next day just because your favorite Guru said so
-Never risk more than 2% of capital per trade. Atleast that's what most professionals do. If you have less capital, gains would be less but so will be the losses.
-Don't turn your trading bets into investing. Most buy stocks for a month and hold till eternity when it falls.
-Predetermine the exit even before you initiate the trade. It's important else you get lost in the process.
-Whenever u loose more capital like 10% due to uncertain event or broker issues, pause, breathe and take an off. This would help else revenge trading will blow account.
-Finally trade only when you are confident and have conviction. If you miss that, don't just trade just for the sake of trading. And make sure you don't trade when at the start of the day you had a fight with your spouse or boss,it is psychologically draining.
