I attached a snippet from the Washington Post interview with Jeff Flake
It sounds to me like Jeff Flake is saying that last time he voted third party, but this time, he'll vote Democrat because the Republican Party needs to be soundly defeated.

It seems to me that we welcome anyone who will vote against Trump.

The interviewer didn't ask him, "Will you vote for Biden."

Maybe it's time for me to tell you all about how Chile got out from under Pinochet (my husband's family experienced the Pinochet dictatorship).

The GOP believes it is

🔹tyranny when a government takes steps to save lives, and
🔹good government when the wealthy get tax breaks.

That's because the GOP is the party of hierarchy.

They don't believe fairness and equality are possible.

Hierarchy people think there's a natural order. Some people belong on top. Others belong at the bottom.

For them, the purpose of government is to allocate power. When they are in power, they try to grab more. They cynically assume everyone sees government this way.

Fairness folks believe equality is possible, so for them, the purpose of government is to create fairness, to give everyone equal opportunity, and to prevent cheating.

Hierarchy people don’t like “rules” or regulations.

Fairness people understand that rules create fairness.

Or is it only tyranny when Democratic governors of states that didn't vote for Trump do it?

I'm doing volunteer voter protection work in another state.

Contact the Democratic Party in a state you want to help, or that state's voter protection organization.

All work right now is remote anyway.

Senate races are just as important, so look at those (like McConnell)
If you specifically want to help Biden, his website will have volunteer opportunities.

Whenever I've done phone banking, I've usually called people in other states.


From the text messages I received during the primaries, it looks like "phone banking" is also "text banking."
