Yes, green tech myths of capitalism are leading us to hell.

I think 'Planet of the Humans' screwed up on how to investigate this. Many of the criticisms I've read strike me as being correct, and the film's vision doesn't seem to match this interview:

The film was a missed opportunity to look at the whole discourse on ecological catastrophe (aka climate change) in a nuanced way. It captured (awkwardly) the sense of having been misled, but the focus was wrong and I doubt it will help the public to grasp the key issues.

It exasperated me frankly. It wasn't good on climate justice, it wasn't good at explaining how racist capitalism and imperialism are core reasons for ecological calamity, and it wasn't good at presenting the necessary emergency action and what's coming in the next 2 decades.

That's what I remember. I watched it a few days ago and didn't find it memorable. I was bored and irritated (not least because it could've been very helpful). Analyse the green movement & capitalism by all means, just not like that. And over-bloody-population, dear, dear me.
