In a fleeting moment of honesty on 27 April, the UK Department of Health admitted that it was counting tests "posted to an individual at home" in the number of tests it declared each day (see footnote). That admission wasn't there on 26 April and it disappeared again on 28 April!

Why is this important?

Because today's the magic 100,000 tests day.

And if the footnote reflects official UK Government thinking, all they have to do is shove 100,000 test kits into mailbags, and by their own criteria they'll have met that 100,000 test goal.
