Every time Flynn's name is mentioned, it must be added that Trump is not friends with Flynn, feels no loyalty to him, and was unhappy with him as NSA. He supports Flynn to keep him quiet about his uncharged crimes and to discredit all future intelligence and media reports on him.
PS/ Once those points are made, it must be added that no federal prosecutor or member of federal law enforcement of any standing whatsoever (apart from Trump appointees) believes that even a single error was made in the Flynn case or that Flynn got anything but a sweetheart deal.
PS2/ Any and all attempts to "exonerate" Flynn post-confession, post-sweetheart deal, and post-plea should be seen as the equivalent of a political crime-in-progress: an attempt to neutralize future investigations or prosecutions of—or revelations about—Flynn that may harm Trump.
