3) As @LeeSmithDC notes, Jan 12 is also the date of the Ignatius WAPO article on Flynn.

Flynn's Dec 29, 2016 call w/Kislyak was leaked to WAPO.

Ignatius' article portrays Flynn as undermining Obama's Russian sanctions and notably brings up the Logan Act.

5) Also worth noting, Jan 12 is the same day that James Baker (DoD's ONA - not FBI) issued his charges against Adam Lovinger - who was placed at WH as a NSC analyst by Flynn.
