The study's key takeaways:

🔴 More pandemic deaths = Nazi vote📈
🔴 More unemployment = Nazi vote📈
🔴 More historic anti-Semitism = Nazi vote📈
🟢 More govt. spending to help people = Nazi vote📉

Basically, we need to make sure ALL of us are healthy & fed, or we're doomed.

Never Again Action was created because we saw that Trump and ICE were dehumanizing and persecuting immigrants in ways that reminded us of the early days of Nazi Germany.

The pandemic has laid it all out in the open.

Trump has kept 40,000 people locked up in ICE detention, with no hope of social distancing or avoiding infection.

Trump has already started telling his base that undocumented people are they reason they can't find jobs.

From the Nazis in Germany to the Fascists in Italy, the far-right gains power during an economic crisis by scapegoating vulnerable groups.

When these guys can't buy groceries because Trump funneled the recovery $ to his rich friends, are they going to blame him? Or immigrants?

Now all of the factors are converging in the same set of states:

🔴 Ignoring health experts -> more pandemic deaths
🔴 Republican economics -> high unemployment, low safety net spending
🔴 High existing levels of anti-immigrant paranoia & hatred

And the camps are already built.

We need to fight for a response to COVID-19 that protects regular people, instead of sacrificing us to 'the economy'. We need to fight to make sure ALL OF US get healthcare, groceries, and the help we need to make it through this crisis.
