Only trust nationalists!
Which is not to say that all nationalists are trustworthy. They are not. But those who denigrate & demonise nationalism are minions of Big Brother.

We are ALL minions of Big Brother, but political scientists especially & most importantly so, because others look to them as authorities on understanding society & the state, when they don't & can't understand them, because far too dependent on the state themselves. @epkaufm 🙂
Big Brother deceitfully poses as our nation (as well as an anti-fascist & anti-racist), in order to legitimise himself, his minions & the immense wealth & power they wield & abuse.

Nationalism being rooted in evolved human nature & tribalism, nationalists have a fatal tendency to fight amongst themselves, making it easy for BB & his minions to divide & rule us. The state does indeed have a truly legitimate role in enforcing the rule of law & non-violence.
Nationalists must beware of those claiming to be fellow nationalists, in order to advance their own personal &/or political ambitions, as Tony Blair claimed to be a socialist to advance his - very successful as it turned out, but at the expense of society at large.
We are all minions of Big Brother, because all dependent on him. He guarantees the property rights of the superrich, while providing welfare to those at the opposite end of the social spectrum. He has us exactly where he wants us, under his thumb, while claiming to serve us.
He is serving us, of course, much as the medieval church, in its day, served society, which couldn't function without him/it, but in such a way as to facilitate society's self-exploitation, to the personal advantage of its elites, who are his favoured clients & minions.

When I say, not good, I mean, bad, VERY bad. Society, or civilisation, as a whole got away with it for centuries, despite all the injustice, inhumanity & suffering it caused. But now it is responsible for an unsustainable economy which poses an existential threat to us all.
