But is that actually what happens? First mention of Subhadra Haran comes from Adi Parva where Subhadra is outright said to be delighted by uniting with Arjuna's "painful haran".

And then the "author" mentions Mata Sita's abduction as a validation to why this "haran" was painful. (Pic 1)

Now let's see how Ravana abducted Mata Sita (pic 2). She is outright wailing and writhing.

Arjuna's abduction of Subhadra (pic 3). She is stated as smiling.

Also, there is no evidence that Arjuna ever forced himself on Subhadra. Here, after marrying Subhadra (AFTER returning to Dwaraka, he stayed in Dwaraka for over a year) (pic 1).

Abhimanyu is born only AFTER this period and when Subhadra was in Indraprastha (pic 2).

Why is this establishing there was no forcing by Arjuna on Subhadra? Because later when Arjuna and Ashvatthama fire their weapons, Arjuna can bring his weapon back ONLY because he is a brahmachari and only mates for procuring a son.
Ashvatthama couldn't withdraw the weapon.

So not only Subhadra's abduction is never stated to be painful, Arjuna never forced himself on her and is tested by supreme gods to be utterly clean to soul. But sure, what does Ved Vyas know in from of Print India.
