There's a lot of interesting stuff here, some that I agree with and some that I disagree with, but one thing that jumps out at me is how 'entitlement' is now seen as a causal explanation for why men rape people which offers explanatory power. There's a

2/ fuzziness to this logic, because of course you could take any act you don't like committed by any person and attribute it to their sense of 'entitlement' -- they felt 'entitled' to do it, of course! -- but this sorta reminds of "It's about power, not sex" storytelling about
3/ rape, where the goal seems to be just as much about portraying the perpetrator in a certain light that is compatible with political claims as about offering a truly plausible and thought-out explanation about why some people do terrible things.
